Our Vision

We seek to know and love God,

to become a caring community changed by Jesus Christ, and

to serve others in His love and for His glory.

Our Mission

Immanuel Church exists to exalt Jesus Christ to the glory of God, making disciples through:

  • Worship that is in Spirit and in truth;
  • Instruction that is centered on the preaching and teaching of the Bible;
  • Fellowship that recognizes our bond as the family of God;
  • Evangelism that is gospel-centered; and
  • Service that is in response to the great commandments.

Our Priorities

Worship

Believing that God seeks individuals who will worship him "in Spirit and in truth", it is our joy to gather weekly for worship. We believe that our highest calling is to love God, to honor Him and to enjoy Him forever. We devote ourselves to proclaiming His praise through song and testimony, to the reading of Scripture, to prayer, to hearing His Word proclaimed and allowing it to bring about change in our lives, for the glory of God.

Discipleship

Jesus commanded His followers to "go and make disciples." In obedience, we are dedicated to developing a proper balance of ministries that REACH non-Christians with the gospel, BUILD Christians in their faith, and EQUIP mature believers for lives of ministry. Central to this process is a commitment to being students of the Word of God, the final authority on all manners of faith and conduct.

Community

Christians are known by their love - for one another and for non-Christians as well. At Immanuel, we are becoming a family of believers conducted by intentional, caring relationships. Our Small Groups not only reflect this priority, but serve as the primary means to achieve this goal. Our hope is that each individual finds meaningful connection and involvement in the Body of Christ.

Missions

The Great Commission directs us to "preach the Gospel to every nation." We are actively reaching out with the message of the Cross. On the home-front it is our desire to see believers sharing their faith in the daily routine of life. Creative outreach events assist our church family in reaching their neighbors and friends. We also support more than twenty missionaries and ministries around the world.
