Media Team
The Media Team uses technology to help the various ministries at Immanuel Church to accomplish their own missions. We strive for both spiritual and technical excellence. The Media Team provides an important role in Sunday worship through sound, slide and video projection, lighting, and now video streaming to Facebook and to our Welcome Room. We also provide access to Sunday worship through online sermons and audio CD's. In addition to Sunday worship, we provide technology for special events such as conferences, presentations, concerts, weddings, and memorial services.
The following are the primary positions on the Media Team.
Projectionist: Responsible for preparing and/or projecting lyrics, presentations, videos, and other media for church services and events. ProPresenter and EasyWorship software are used to integrate the various media into packages for projection.
Sound Operator: Responsible for setup and live sound mixing for services, practices, and other church events.
Video Streaming and Audio Recording: Responsible setting up and operating the video camera for live streaming of our services and events, and for recording the audio for services and events. This person also operates the stage lights in the sanctuary during services and events.
CD Production: Responsible for post production of audio (and eventually video) recordings for duplication onto CD’s (eventually DVD's).
Anyone who has an ear for sound or is comfortable with video and computer technology is invited to join our team.
